environments and objects) should be available to
those
with modest resources. The challenge of
envisioning and producing exciting things to see
and innovative places to live, work and worship
on a limited budget is daunting. However, with
talent, vision, inspiration and technical
capability, "real" creativity is not only
plausible, but attainable. There is, I believe,
nothing more exciting and spiritually uplifting
than designing, within arduous budgetary
limitations, living spaces and objects of art
that delight and animate our lives."
